You may notice a resemblance between Ornitholestes and the modern bird, particularly in the similarity of the wrists which enabled Ornitholestes to tuck its hands up close to its body in much the same way as a bird folds its wings. Even the movement seems uncannily close to that of a stretched chicken. These creatures were undoubtedly fast and agile, well suited to hunting within the thick vegetation.
